Squeezing the Tree
I am Squeezing the tree
and so it shall always be
Don’t ask, don’t doubt,
don’t think, don’t shout
for nothing is stopping me.
Sir Tree by title
Squeezing by name.
You may find it silly
you may find it lame.
Think what you like
it’ll never cause pain.
Don’t worry about me
I’ll always be sane
Why such a name,
why such a mask?
Is it from some game?
I hear you ask.
It’s from no game
I‘m no nature lover
It’s wasn’t given by mother
Or is an identity cover
It’s my name by choice
presenting a voice
That no matter my call
I will always stand tall
Let it not make me fall
For I don’t care at all
Because I don’t care
It makes you aware
That I am me
And me is fair
I won’t change me
That’ll bring me despair
You should know
I’m who who does not care
Whoever you are
Whatever you choose
The speed of your car
Or the size of your shoes
Shows that you are you
About that there’s nothing to do
Let that always be
It makes you true
Now you should see
That I’m happy and free
Take it from me
I’m Squeezing the tree
